Course contents : Study of marine sediments and sedimentary rocks, with emphasis on carbonates.
Course objective : To give an overview of marine sediments. Exemples are from present day and ancient sediments.
Prerequisites : scientific formation
Workshops : Fieldtrips in various palaeoenvironments (from turbidites to reefs).
Organization : Theory lessons are given in B20. Fieldtrips are organized in Belgium.
