Course contents : 1) Recycling: definitions, politics, laws and regulations. Genral rules for recycling. By-products: blastfurnace slags, fly ashes, mines, demolition wastes, rubber, bitumens. Municipal wastes: incinerator slags, plastics, paper, glass. Impact on the environment.

2) Design of wate storage landfills.

3) Treatment processes of wastes and by-products.
