Definition of logistics applied to the transport field. Methods of stock management. Company policies concerned with the material availability, investments, maintenance.
GCIV0057-1 : Development of a transport plan
The lecture is mainly composed by a didatic presentation with illustration of practical cases. The essential steps of the study of a transportation plan are analysed, it means : demand, supply and land use analysis, forecast technics, financial and socio-economic evaluations, aid-decision making tools, tarification and financing.

 | This course is included in the programme of a module "project" entitled "Transport logistics" : the objective is to define necessary basic knowledge to realise a practical project. This course, applied to the transport field, defines tools that can be used in other types of production activities. |
