Behavior of Marine Structures

Course contents : The lecture is mainly composed by a didatic presentation with illustration of practical cases. It analyses first problems concerned with the static and dynamic stability of floating structures. It analyses also their behaviour at see.
Prerequisites : No other specific requirements than those required by this programme.
Workshops : Practical works have to be realised.
Organization : Nothing specific.
Written notes : The course is very specific and has its own detailed syllabus: it is not necessary to refer to other particular documents.
For any student who wants to improve his knowledge, a library in the concerned field is available and is regularly updated, mainly under own department fund.
Assessment : An oral examination is realised in June and the note takes also into account the results of practical works.
