| Course objective : | Provide the basic knowledge for both the design and verification of steel and composite structural elements. | |||||

| Prerequisites : | Fundamentals of statics, Mechanics of solids and materials, Structural analysis, Fundamentals of reinforced concrete | |||||

| Workshops : | Exercises and evaluation. | |||||

| Organization : | Lectures (50 h )and exercises (30 h ) organised as periods of 2 to 4 hours | |||||

| Assessment : | Several evaluations (only exercises) during the semester. At the end of the semester, written and oral examinations devoted respectively to practical applications and theoretical aspects. | |||||
