Course contents :

Biological Wastewater treatment (part II)

Content :

- complements on activated sludge

-fixed biomass processes ( Trickling filters, RBC)

Extensive processes : waste stabilization ponds, aerated lagoons

Intensive modern processes : SBR, SAF, MBR*

Tertiary treatment : nitrification denitrification , P removal

Epuration des eaux industrielles

· Caractérisation des eaux usées industrielles

· Inventaires des techniques d'épuration (principes, applications) des eaux usées industrielles.

· Organigramme de choix de filières d'épuration : composition de l'eau/contraintes de résultats.

· Spécificité des eaux industrielles vis-à-vis de l'épuration biologique.

· Application des réactions chimiques (pH, redox, précipitation, oxydations chimiques (AOP).

· Gestion de l'eau et des pollutions dans l'industrie (réduction à la source, technologie propre, traitement épuration(*).

· Visite d'une entreprise (technologies propres et épuration conventionnelles d'eaux usées chargées en ions métalliques.

Traininf will focus on sampling, analysis on the main parameters.

Every process will be visited (full scale facilities) with mass balances calculation and check up ot the design.

L'examen se fait à livre fermé et inclut pour un tiers, la restitution de l'enseignement (définition, description, etc.), pour un tiers l'interprétation critique et raisonnée de l'enseignement, le solde porte sur des calculs et exercices.
