Course contents : Introduction to the environmental impact assessment procedures in Walloon Region

After a review of the historical backgrounds of impact assessment, the Walloon procedure will be explained by carefull examination of the laws.

Using case studies and field trips, the contents of the reports will be explained.

Special attention will be given to specific working methods and techniques needed.

Finaly, students will examine environmental impact assessment studies and produce a personnal report on the project under examination.

Prerequisites : None
Organization : In May, during one week
