Basic rules for design
Course objective : Content :

- complements on activated sludge

-fixed biomass processes ( Trickling filters, RBC)

Extensive processes : waste stabilization ponds, aerated lagoons

Intensive modern processes : SBR, SAF, MBR*

Tertiary treatment : nitrification denitrification ,

Phosphorus removal (biological and physico-chemical)

Exercices and visits of plants

Workshops : Exercices and visit of full scale facilities
