Course contents : - Georesources and environment
- Water cycle, groundwater, solute transport in the underground and contamination
- Impact of human activities associated to natural hazards: induced land subsidence, costal erosion, soil and groundwater contamination, waste-disposals, seawater intrusions, earthquake, Civil Engineering works and geology, impact studies
- Protection, remediation, vulnerability maps, natural and enhanced attenuation of contamination.
Course objective : Introduction to the geological and hydrogeological aspects linked to environmental problems.
Workshops : Exercices are organised in relation with the topics discussed in the theory part.
Organization : Second semester
