| Contents: introduction, multimedia signals (wave, image, video, digitization), signals and telecommunications systems, information theory (entropy, basic principles of compression, audio compression, image and video), continuous wave modulation (amplitude modulation, angular modulation), digital baseband transmission, digital modulation and modems, coding, transmission support (line transmission, optical fiber, free space propagation), introduction to the OSI model (connection layer), main principles of the GSM network. | |
