Course contents : a) CMOS integrated circuits and related fabrication technology
b) magnetic and optical information recording
c) description of the "ubiquitous" hardware kernel (i.e. present in all chipsets for compatibility reasons) of P.C.'s.
Course objective : presentation of some general hardware concepts found in most information processing equipments
Prerequisites : ELEN0040-1
Workshops : personnal project leading to the "hands on" use of CPLD from VHDL description.
