| Course contents :
| The Belgian Constitutional Court (Cour d'arbitrage) is not very old, dating back to 1983. However, its impact on the legal system is even increasing and becomes of paramount importance.
We start from the basic issues raised by constitutional review and from the specific characteristics of the Belgian Constitutional Court. Thus, we draw on the knowledge gained through the general course of Constitutional law, but of course, we go much further.
We devote a special attention to the case-law elaborated by the Court in various fields. We thus select specific topics and study them thoroughly with the help of specialists of the field concerned (e.g. family law, criminal law). | |
