Seminar on Specific Issues in Public Law

Course contents : We meet six times a year, every three weeks or so.

At each meeting, a question in Belgian public law is given to the students (usually a small group) with the relevant documentation.

The students must write each a short paper on this topic (max 4 pages) which is discussed at the next meeting.
Course objective : The purpose is twofold.

First it gives interested students (last year of law school and DES) the opportunity to work on selected topics of public law, under close supervision of the Professor, and to discuss in a small group.

Second, it offers to the students an adequate way to improve their writing skills.

Assessment : There is no final exam.
Each student is evaluated on basis on his personal work (written work and discussions) during the year.
