Course contents : This course covers the fundamental rules that govern personal guarantees ("cautionnement", bank guarantees, letters of comfort, ...) and real securities (privileges, mortgages, pledges, reservation of title, ...).. Those guarantees and securities are particularly important for the creditor in the event of bankruptcy or insolvency of his debtor.
Course objective : This course purports to introduce future lawyers to the fundamental rules of guarantees and securities, both of which have important business consequences.
