Course contents : Introduction to what is involved in scientific publishing and to major tools that can help to locate scientific information
Course objective : Introduction to methods used to locate and convey scientific information
Workshops : Locate information on a given topic in libraries and on the computer
Organization : The course begins with a powerpoint presentation followed by a guided tour of the library. Next, students have to solve a specific research problem
Written notes : A copy of the powerpoint presentation
Assessment : Report on and oral presentation of results. The examination will be held together with that on the course "Initiation à l'informatique"
