 | - Common physiopathological problems; prevention and diagnostic of common complications |
 |  | Notions of anesthesia and analgesia |

 | The course focuses on the following topics: - concepts of general anaesthesia, sedation/analgesia, and hypnosedation - roles of the anaesthetist-resuscitator, including maintenance of homaeostasis during and after intervention - local anaesthetics and anaesthesias - epidural and/or spinal anaesthesia and analgesia and peripheral nerve blockings - acute and chronic pains, analgesic products and techniques - postoperative analgesia and patient management in the Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

 | Allow the future surgical trainee to understand the prevention, diagnostic and therapy methods applied to the surgical patient. |
 |  | Notions of anesthesia and analgesia |

 | Discover and understand anaesthesia and resuscitation, the techniques and procedures which allow the patients to undergo diagnostic and/or therapeutic interventions with the highest levels of comfort and safety before, during and after the intervention. |

 | Good knowledge of pathologies and their physio-pathological mechanisms in adults, children, pregnant women. |
