Course contents : Fundamentals of quantum mechanics with special emphasis to the concepts important for the understanding of molecular properties and reactivity
Course objective : 0 Introduction and motivation
I. Postulates of quantum mechanics
II. Angular momentum, Electron spin and Pauli Principle
III. Harmonic Oscillator and vibrational spectroscopy
IV. Motion in a central potential : the hydrogen atom
V. Methods of approximation
Prerequisites : Basic concepts in linear algebra and in solving differential equations
Workshops : exercises : 5 h
Organization : Monday, from 13h30 to 15h30, second quadrimester
Written notes : available at the first semester
