| Photoabsorption - Oscillator strhgths - Absolute cross sections - Electronic spectroscopy - Photoelectron spectroscopy and related spectroscopies (XPS, X-ray fluorescence). Inelastic diffusion of electrons. | |

| Course objective :
| Presentation of the spectroscopic methods and of the atomic and molecular physico-chemical parameters taht can be obtained by means of these methods. | |

| Matter studied during the second and the third year. | |

| Oral lectures according to a timetable discussed with the students. | |

| Written notes :
| The students receive a copy of the transparencies used during the lectures. The list of the reference books is given during the first lecture. | |
