| Duration : | 10h Th, 5h Pr | |
| | | |
| Credits/ECTS : |
| |

| Holder(s) : | Patrick Motte | |

| Course contents :
| The program of this course is designed to gain a greater understanding of the molecular plant cell physiology. It centers on the biomembrane and its functions (synthesis and function of membrane lipids, uptake and transport,...) and on the endomembrane system and vesicle traffic. | |
| | | |
| Course objective :
| The main aim of this course is to emphasize the uniqueness of the plant cell at different levels of organisation. If basic biochemistry is conserved among eukaryotes, the plastic responses of plants at both cellular and molecular levels are unique and will be highlighted.. | |
| | | |
| Prerequisites :
| No prerequisite | |
| | | |
| Workshops :
| Practical courses using confocal microscopy to experience the transient and dynamic nature of cellular processes. The versatile protein tags such as A(equorea)FPs are used to for real-time imaging after Agrobacterium-mediated transient transformation of tobacco cells. | |
| | | |
| Organization :
| The course is given during the first quadrimestre. | |
| | | |
| Written notes :
| Lectures are given by using laptop and presentation software which allow a wide distribution of the diaporamas. | |
| | | |
| Assessment :
| Examination details are defined at the beginning of the academic year. | |
