| | | |
| | | |
| Course contents :
| Part 1 Introduction
- TEM and SEM - Ultrastructure of the plant cell
Part 2 Meristematic cells
- Primary meristems - Functional organization of the nuclear compartments; gene expression regulation - Cell cycle
Part 3 Differenciation | |
| | | |
| Course objective :
| The aim of the lectures is to describe the functional variations in the ultrastructure of some cells according to their identity and differenciation status. We focuse on meristematic cells, on the functional nuclear organization and the cell cycle of the plant cell. | |
| | | |
| Workshops :
| Preparation of samples for SEM and TEM to illustrate the development of the higher plant. | |
| | | |
| Organization :
| Schedule will be sent out to all students | |
| | | |
| Written notes :
| Lectures are given by using laptop and presentation software which allow a wide distribution of the diaporamas. | |
| | | |
