Course contents : The course on Molecular biology will allow to the students to discover the basic mechanisms that gover gene expression and regulation
Course objective : Allow an understanding of DNA replication, gene transcription, translation and targeting of cellular proteins. This course will also allow to the students to understand important differences between pro- and eukaryotes
Prerequisites : None
Workshops : No praticals
Organization : 4th semester
Written notes : Text book is Genes VIII (B. Lewin). A CDRom with all the figures shwon during the course will be distributed at the first lesson.
Assessment : Written examination
