Course objective : An approach to the thermodynamic and kinetic properties of biological macromolecules and of the techniques utilised in this type of studies.
Prerequisites : General, physical and organic chemistry. General biochemistry. Chemical thermodynamics. Structure of biological macromolecules.
Organization : Forty 90-min theoretical lectures
Five 120-min problem-solving discussions
Fifteen 3-hr practicals
Written notes : Available
Assessment : Written exam in two parts, one for each professor.
