Course contents : The course focuses on the analysis of artistic and architectural productions in enlightening these productions' context. It gives reflection ways, aiming at feeding the student's analysis and creation process, his "projecting" process.
In addition, all the graphical communication modes are at the architects' hand to express their ideas and their conceptions. That is why an important part of the course is meant to allow these matters' experimentation, in order to help the students to develop their sensitivity in the communications fields.
The observation sketching is still the essential tool that the student should use to swiftly experiment the global vision of a project or a concept to be expressed. It also allows to train one's visual memory, which is a precious tool for the spaces conceptors.
Course objective : Learning to look better, to observe, to stimulate spatial vision, the perspective sense, the proportions scale, the three dimensional vision, to develop the student's personal sensitivity by means of a formal step, underlained by a synthetic analysis, based on the research spirit, knowledge and sensitive transposition.
To learn to express one self, to pass from idea to its transcription and its communication.
