Course contents : 1 Pathology module I: general concepts - bronchial cancer and tumors of the anatomical airways;
2 Pathology module II: hypophyseal tumors, thyroid cancers, skin cancers;
3 Pathology module III: digestive, urological, gynaecological, and male genito-urinary cancers;
4 Pathology module IV: tumors of the nervous and musculoskeletal system
Course objective : Acquisition of the general principles: radiobiology, radiocurability, therapeutic results and secondary effects.
Role of radiotherapy in a multidisciplinary cancer therapy strategy.
Prerequisites : Having passed the 3rd épreuve de Candidat en Médecine (3rd year of the 1st cycle in the degree in medicine)
Organization : The lectures take place during the 1st and 2nd semester in the teaching halls of the Faculty of Medicine in Sart Tilman.
Written notes : Course notes (texts and iconography)
Assessment : Written and oral multidisciplinary exams.
January and June sessions.
