The basic principles of Newtonian mechanics are then developed: study of motions, Newton's principles (force, inertia, acceleration), some fundamentals of statics, dynamics of the material point (quantity of motion, work, energy), law of gravitation.
Course objective : Introduction to physics and to the scientific reasoning. The aim of the course is to provide the students with a basic comprehension of physical phenomena and to develop their reasoning faculuties and their critical attitude.
Prerequisites : Some notions of mathematics (geometry, trigonometry, vectors,...)
Workshops : Exercices made during the lectures
