Course contents : Elements of physiology, biochemistry and histology relative to organs and systems which will not be studied in specific modules. The digestive tract, the liver, and the urinary system will be described . Moreover the liquid compartments of the organism will be described in lectures of physiology, the integumentary system in lectures of histology, the blood, the bone and the degenerescence in lectures of biochemistry.
Course objective : Multidisciplinary approach of the function of some organs and systems.
Prerequisites :
  • general physiology
  • general biochemistry
  • general histology
  • notions of anatomy
Workshops : Practical lessons of physiology, biochemistry and histology.
Organization : As a module during the S4
Written notes :
  • biochemistry : figures and notes distributed to the students
  • physiology: notes available for the students
  • histology : notes available at Intercopy, CD-ROM with the slides of the lectures available for the students
Assessment : Written examination
