Course contents : The lecture on general Physiology describes the distribution of water in the organism in compartments. The composition and the limits of these compartments and their consequences are analyzed. The major functions of some types of cells (neurons, muscles, endothelial cells and epithelial cells) are studied. The different mechanisms of communication between cells are discussed.
Course objective : The understanding of the basal functions of the major types of cells bathing in the interstial fluid of the organism.
Prerequisites : Knowledge of French and scientific English. Basal knowledge of Chemistry and Physics.

Written notes : The students will be able to obtain the notes on General Physiology at Intercopy, route du Condroz, from the first days of september.
Assessment : A written examination will be organized during January
