| Course contents :
| The course focuses on two aspects of forensic medicine: - thanatological forensic medicine which describes the means, the techniques, and the methods which allow to establish the time of death as well the signs and symptoms which allow to determine the cause of the death and to identify indications of violent death or the intervention of a third party in the death mechanism. - clinical forensic medicine which studies the evaluation of lesions or sequels in victims of traumatic phenomena. The study of both aspects is coordinated with the presentation of the underlying legal concepts. | |

| Course objective :
| The course has three objectives: to introduce the basics of forensic activity, so that the student will be able to understand and use an attestation of death in the course of a normal medical practice., , to introduce the concept of judiciary appraisement, , to present the legal concepts which are essential in the course of a forensic practice | |
