| Course contents :
| The course comprises a practical part (20h min.) and a theorical part (10h max.) The practical part is composed of tests dealing with writing errors and blunders on the one hand, on the other and, with grammatical knowledge absolutely necessary to correct them. The students who do not successfully pass the tests are urged to participate in remedial classes led by teching assistants. The theorical part is composed of grammatical questions about the students errors and blunders. | |

| Aim of the course 1) to revive the basic knowledge in sentence and text grammar, 2) to provide the main facts of the instruction branch generally referred to as "text grammar" | |

| Assessment 1) Continuus azssessment all through the year with a remedial aim; the mark obtained at the different levels help the students get a clear idea of their knowledge; the corrections of the exercises and controls inform them about the course they should take to cope with their diffuculties; 2) A "mock" assessment preparing to the official assessment; 3) A written assessment with a certifying function. | |
