Basic motor and psychomotor actiovities

Course contents : The course develops the following topics:

- the motor development stages of the child
- detailed analysis of the main motor functions (walking and locomotion, prehension, balance, ...)
- classification of the motor function
- analysis of the links between the motor and the cognitive domains
- analysis of the learning processes
- fundamental motor education of the healthy child
Course objective : The course studies the motor development of the child and its impact on the cognitive aspects. These elements make possible the fundamental motor education of the healthy child.
Prerequisites : None.
Workshops : Tuesday (swimming): basic swimming, hydrotherapy and lifesaving techniques.
Thursday or Friday: basic sport techniques
Material:
Tuesday: swimming cap and suit
Thursday or Friday: indoor and outdoor sports clothes

Moreover, students take part in observation courses at the Centre de recherche en kinanthropologie (CERE-Ki) in order to introduce them to the world of fundamental motor education and psychomotility.

Written notes : Distributed by the lecturer.
Assessment : Written exam, open questions.
