Course contents : * a fictive autobiography (Chaucer's Wife of Bath's Tale), written by a male author
* Two autobiographies written by female authors, i.e. Julian of Norwich and Margery Kempe
* The studies will read the autobiographies discussed during the seminars. Each of them will also read a book or an extensive essay; he/she will make an oral presentation of it and write a report on his/her reading (subjects and calendar will be settled on the first day)
