| Course objective : | - To teach pharmacy students about the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of the 21st century - To emphasise the potentialities but also the limitations of computer systems - To prepare students to pharmacy information management systems (PIMS) and their daily functionalities | |||||

| Workshops : | In practical sessions, students will be shown how to use common application software products like WORD, EXCEL or ACCESS as well as email and Internet. Furthermore, actual demonstrations of pharmacy information and management systems will be carried out by an experienced pharmacist. The course will end up with a visit to one of the major pharmacy information management systems providers. | |||||

| Organization : | Courses will be given during the first quadrimester and the visit to the pharmacy information management system (PIMS) provider will be made early January. | |||||
