| A different theme is selected each year: archaic sculpture, Greek pottery, silver and gold work, bronzes, etc. | |

| Course objective :
| The course is an in-depth examination of a specific topic or period in Greek art. Emphasis is placed on the method of appraoch and on the results of recent research. Interpretations of specialists are critically analyzed, by which students have a concrete introduction to scientific research and in which they take an active part. | |

| Prerequisites :
| Basic knowledge acquired during the first cycle. | |

| Organization :
| Duration and period: 60 hours (1st and 2nd quarters).
Classroom and schedule: Auditorium A4/S/100 (building A4), Tuesday, 4-6 pm (1st quarter) and Monday, 2-4 pm (2nd quarter). | |

| Written notes :
| A specific bibliography is recommended during the first class. | |

| Assessment :
| Oral examination at the end of the year. Exam session in June. The exam allows an evaluation of knowledge acquired as well as the ability to synthesize and present the material. | |
