Working Out of a Transport Plan

Course contents : The lecture is mainly composed by a didatic presentation with illustration of practical cases. The essential steps of the study of a transportation plan are analysed, it means : demand, supply and land-use analysis, forecast technics, financial and socio-economic evaluations, aid-decision making tools, tarification and financing.
Course objective : This course is included in the programme of Interuniversity Master in transport Management (CIEM, Interuniversity Centre of Mobility study): the objective is to define necessary bases to realise a practical project. This course, applied to the transport field, defines tools that can be used in other types of production activities.
Prerequisites :
Workshops : Important practical works are organized through the analysis of real projects.
Written notes : The course is very specific and has its own detailed syllabus: it is not necessary to refer to other particular documents.
For any student who wants to improve his knowledge, a library in the transport field is available and is regularly updated, mainly under department fund. CIEM has also a specialised library in the field of Mobility Management.
Assessment : oral examination + evaluation of practical works
