| Course contents :
| Each semester, this course comprises a theoretical part of 15 hours and a practical part (sport courses) of 135 hours.
24 theoretical lessons are programmed. They approach the origin and evolution of sport and physical education, skills and strategies of team sports (volleyball, handball, and basketball), essential skills of some individual sports (gymnastics, dance, swimming and athletics). This course provides the theoretical framework relating to the sport skills taught in practical course.
The practical course aims at the individual improvement of the student in several individual and team sports. Personal experience and development constitutes the essential base of the understanding and mastery of the various sport activities in the perspective of a professional intervention. | |

| Course objective :
| Theoretical course
- To illustrate the basic concepts of the field of the physical and sport activities. - To provide a theoretical framework to the sport proposed in practical courses. - To present a systematic analysis of the sports. - To build a base of disciplinary knowledge directly related to the professional purposes of the programme.
Practical course
- To re-examine the fundamentals of the motor skills. - To improve essential physical qualities with the practice of the PSA. - To develop the technical and tactical bases of the students (according to the sport). - To educate students with a sport ethics (fair-play, respect of others...). - To educate with a professional ethics (correction, punctuality, effort...). | |

| Prerequisites :
| On the theoretical view, any pre requisite is essential. On the other hand, the practical courses require the students to be fit and characterized by the largest possible motor ability | |

| Workshops :
| The sport courses are organized in units, at a rate of three per semester. The units intended for boys relate to athletics, gymnastics, swimming (individual sports), basketball, volleyball and handball (team sports). Girls' programme comprises athletics, gymnastics, dance, swimming (individual sports), basketball and volleyball (team sports). A course designed to improve physical fitness and integrating recovery activities is programmed throughout the year.
The presence in the sports courses is compulsory. A call will be carried out with the beginning of each lesson.
The detailed schedule is communicated at the first lesson of the practical courses. Any modification is communicated to representatives and by way of posting. The students are requested to read the opinions posted with the bulletin board of the ISEPK at the time of each day of practical courses.
A equipment is put on sale during the first week of the year (track suit, shorts and two Tee-shirts). Additional clothes can be ordered. | |

| Organization :
| Theoretical course The course comprises 24 sessions of 1h15: general concepts relating to the physical and sport activities (4), volleyball (3), basketball (3), swimming (3), handball (3), athletics (3), gymnastics (2), dance (1), and utilization of the content (2).
Practical course The detailed schedule is communicated to the students during the first lesson of course. Any modification is communicated to the students' representative and by posting. The students are requested to read the information posted on the bulletin board of the ISEPK at the time of each day of practical sessions. | |

| Written notes :
| A copy of the slides proposed during the theoretical lessons is provided to the students' representative. The same applies with some other documents exploited at the time of the sessions. In addition, the students will have to seek other information, according to recommendations' of the course's leader or his assistants. | |

| Assessment :
| Theoretical course: written examination with open question on each part of the course. Practical course: according to the sport, the assessment lays on the student's level and improvement. The participation in the courses and the achievement to basic physical fitness tests are also taken into account in the attribution of the final note. A student who has not satisfied in a unit of the first semester has the right to again present the examination at the end of the second semester. He is encouraged to follow activities of remediation. | |
